Ice Cream Treat | Elora Family Photographer

This family is no stranger to the blog.  I'm so thankful that I continue to be asked to photograph this growing family.  Elora was the perfect spot for this family photo session.  What kid doesn't want to end a photo session with ice cream?!?!  I love watching the personalities of the twins grow and develop.  And now we have their baby sister to follow in their foot steps. Happy soon to be first birthday to the youngest member of the Turk family.

A Challenge | Cambridge Family Photographer

Before showing up for every session, I have butterflies and excitement. You would think at some point in my photography career, that would go away.  However, each session feels like the first.  I invest a lot of time and thought into my sessions and really want the best for all my clients.  No pressure.  Family sessions are the most difficult for me to prepare for.  How do you prepare for the unknown?  You can't really.  You take it as it comes and enjoy the ride.

Little Miss. Taylor was off and running before our session even began.  Her parents warned me after the first few minutes that she is not one to stay still or snuggle.  Perfect! I love a challenge.  So we bribed with raisins and bubbles and let the rest happen naturally.  After all, isn't that what it's all about?  Documenting who YOU are as a family.  I loved the light, I loved the giggles and I loved the relationship in this family.  Oh, and I really loved her little shoes.  I'm a sucker for pink.

Double Trouble | Alma Family Photographer

My cousin came home from the States for a quick visit to help us celebrate our much older cousin's 40th birthday.  That's you James. :) We took the opportunity the next day to do a quick photo update for her twin girls.  After a night of no sleep, they were less than pleased to be performing for the camera.  However, I managed to soak up their cuteness and squeeze a few giggles out of them.  I was so grateful to have an hour to spend with these two growing ladies before they had to go back home.  

  

The Smile Challenge | Kitchener Family Photographer

There is always that one little one that refuses to crack a smile. Even when I'm acting like a complete fool. . . nothing. Blank stare. You know what, with a cute face like hers, she can stare down the camera all she wants. I've been photographing this little man since he was born and now we have his little sister to add to the mix. I do love watching my friends families grow and I am continually humbled that they keep asking me to capture them. Bea, thank you for staying on your feet this time and for trusting me to do what I do. :)
