Not Always Easy

You never know what kind of mood kids are going to be in when they have a camera in their face.  When I met up with this next family, I was faced with a challenge.  I'm not sure if it was me or the camera but as soon as we started there was a lot of screaming and very little cooperation.  Instantly, parents are horrified when their children act out or have a melt down.  Embarrassment turns quickly to frustration and anger because of all days and times in the world, why did they choose this one hour to be rotten.  RELAX!  Your children are being children, so I just play the game their way.  Games of tag, sitting on magic chairs, picking pretty flowers, playing peek a boo. . . . the list goes on.  After 2 hours of all sorts of tricks, I finally felt comfortable to call it a wrap on this shoot.  I always feel bad for the parents after a shoot like this because they feel like there is no way we got anything worthy of the family album.  Andree & Tom I hope you were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful your little angels turned out. I especially like the little moments with each of you and the kids as well as the snuggle shots of the two of you together. Thank you for choosing me to add another chapter in the book of memories.
