April & Justin | Guelph Engagement Photography

Three things that make a great engagement shoot; unique location, yummy golden light and a fantastic couple!  This shoot had them all. April & I know each other through our occupations. Not this occupation; my day job.  When she contacted me to talk about wedding photography, I was all in.  When I heard that it would be taking place in 3 months, I almost dropped the phone.  When you know, you just know. So here we are, one completed engagement shoot and a wedding to come next month.  I can't wait to see what these two whip up for the big day!

Bringing the Beach to the Farm | Darryl & Christina (Round 2)

Remember the gorgeous Jamaican wedding I posted not so long ago?  Well it's time for round 2.  We celebrated with a slightly larger group of people this time at a rustic farm wedding reception in Arthur Ontario!  This "shop party" was complete with white lights strung through the rafters, burlap table runners, lush green cedar shrubs, white paper lanterns, a barn board back drop and a wood bench for guests to sign. It was so nice to walk around the room and see all the photos from our Jamaican adventure.  It gave those who couldn't travel with us, a good idea of how things went down.  If you're a bride who is torn between heading down south to get married or staying home and having a more rustic laid back theme, Christina has proven that you can have both!

I truly enjoyed every moment of this couples wedding journey.  From our engagement/family shoot with their handsome baby boy in the fall, to the Jamaican ceremony this spring and ending with a fantastic party at home.  I am so happy you asked me to capture it all.  The love, the craziness and yes even the groomsmen. Thank you ever so much for trusting me to be your story teller.

This is the happiest I have ever seen a groomsmen after calling it a wrap.
