Downtown Pink Shoot

This is my second time shooting a pink session for these girls.  I was so flattered that Jennifer wanted to do this again for her birthday this year.  These sessions are so much fun for me. It was freezing outside but the sun was shining.  I love listening to the girls talk about their teenage lives while we shoot.  It reminds me of back in the day. . . ok, way back in the day.  Thanks for a great Saturday afternoon girls.

Late Arrival

This little one may have been late, but she was worth the wait.  Jim & Tara, she's perfect and beautiful.  Thank you for allowing me to photograph your new family. 

Not A Baby Anymore

I photographed this little man when he was still new to the world and look at him now!  His gentle soul and fierce dance moves made for a fantastic shoot.  I have a feeling those baby blues are gonna break a few hearts.

Family Fun Challenge

This weeks challenge over at I Heart Faces is family fun.  I have the opportunity to shoot so many wonderful families, it's hard to choose just one.  I finally decided to use one from a repeat client of mine; Kim and her children.  I love the genuine smiles and the heart felt love I feel when I'm shooting this family.  This image was one of my favorites this year because it captured their relationship perfectly.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge

I went to the HER conference back in November and met the ladies of I Heart Faces.  I loved their energy, their enthusiasm and I especially loved their willingness to share.  I finally had a chance to sit down and read over my notes last night from all the speakers and I started to re visit their web sites.  When I got to I Heart Faces, it hit me, I have to challenge myself more.  It was staring me right in the face; the weekly I Heart Faces photo challenge.  I know I won't be able to do every single one of them but I'm sure gonna try my best.  Voila, here it is, my first entry.  The challenge: Best faces of 2011.  After going through all of my images from last year, I've finally picked the one that jumped out at me the most.  Baby blues will getcha every time!

Tannery Wedding, Kitchener ON

Rob & Laura were married on August 13th at the Tannery in Kitchener.  Because they were being married late in the day, we decided it was best to do pictures before.  We set up "the first look" and captured that first look moment.  Thankyou both for having me part of your special day.  I wish you both love and happiness now and always.
